Paul Warren (Norfolk)
Paul Warren has served as a mediator and/or arbitrator in hundreds of cases since the early 1990s and has handled both private litigation and court appointed matters. He was certified as a mediator by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in 1991, and is currently certified in both civil and family mediation at the General District Court and Circuit Court levels in Virginia. Since 1998, Mr. Warren has served as an adjunct faculty member at Old Dominion University, where he teaches argumentative and professional writing and currently serves as Director of ODU's Certificate Program in Conflict Management. In addition, Mr. Warren has authored The Commercial Mediator's Handbook along with numerous related articles on ADR. Paul is chair of the Conference Planning Committee. (757) 274-0047

Geetha Ravindra (Richmond)
Geetha Ravindra is an attorney, mediator and trainer in Richmond. She served as Director of the Department of Dispute Resolution Services at the Supreme Court of Virginia from 1996-2007. Ms. Ravindra’s responsibilities included developing and administering within the judicial system a range of dispute resolution options; promoting the use of ADR by courts, attorneys and the public through education, legislative initiatives and technical support; and certifying mediators and mediation training programs. Ms. Ravindra managed the Dalkon Shield Arbitration Program at the Private Adjudication Center 1992-1996. Ms. Ravindra is Co- Chair of the Committee on Mediator Ethical Guidance of the Dispute Resolution Section of the ABA, a member of the Council of the Dispute Resolution Section of the ABA, and Chair of the VSB Attorney Client Fee Dispute Resolution Program. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar – Virginia Bar Association Joint Committee on ADR and a member of the Board of the Restorative Justice Association of Virginia. Ms. Ravindra has published several articles on court-connected dispute resolution and has conducted numerous training programs and presentations related to alternative dispute resolution around the country and in India.

James Allen (Virginia Beach)
Jim Allen holds certifications at both the General District Court Civil and Circuit Court Civil with mentor status. His primary practice is in court referred cases and private cases in a variety of business matters. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics. His work experience is as a banker and business owner. Carol McCue (Richmond)
Carol McCue is the Director of the Dispute Resolution Program at the Richmond Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court where she administers a comprehensive mediation program and mediates custody, visitation, child support, child dependency, and truancy cases. Before joining the court system Ms. McCue was a counselor at the Virginia Department of Employment Dispute Resolution and the Employee Relations Manager at the Virginia Department of Transportation. Kathey Foskett (Manassas)
Kathey Foskett is a full time practicing mediator and trainer specializing in Equal Employment Opportunity, workplace, business and divorce disputes with more than 15 years experience. She travels throughout the United States to conduct mediation sessions and to present workshops, seminars, and training courses in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Mediation, and Conflict Management and Resolution skills. A Virginia Supreme Court certified general and family mediator, mentor mediator and trainer, Ms. Foskett also holds Advanced Practitioner status and professional membership with the Association for Conflict Resolution. Susan Bartlett (Manassas)
Susan Bartlett was certified in the Family and General areas for the first time in 1995. Since that time she has added Circuit Court Family as a certification area and has also obtained mentor status. She has mediated approximately 500 cases, the majority being Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court cases. She has also completed Restorative Justice Facilitator training, and has facilitated Community Conferences for the Prince William County Restorative Justice Program. Besides her work as a private mediator, she is now the Assistant Coordinator of the Fairfax County Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Appeals- which provides workplace mediation to Fairfax County employees. Susan is chair of the Newsletter Committee.

Carolyn Fitzpatrick (Amherst)
Carolyn P. Pritchard is the Director of Peaceful Alternatives Community Mediation Services (PACMS) located in central VA (Amherst, VA) and is a mediation practitioner serving the surrounding areas. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Conflict Transformation. She often serves on statewide mediation committees and is a current Board Member of the Virginia Mediation Network, Restorative Justice Association of Virginia and Virginia Association for Community Conflict Resolution. Daniel Burk (Fairfax)
Danny Burk is a practicing attorney in Virginia and the District of Columbia. He is President of Resolution Point LLC, mediating family and civil cases and preparing lawyers and clients for upcoming ADR processes. Mr. Burk is certified by the Virginia Supreme Court to mediate in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations, General District and Circuit Courts for family and civil cases and is also certified as a Mentor for new mediators. Prior to starting Resolution Point, he founded and operated a small, high technology business until it was purchased by a not-so-small, high technology business. While President, he was responsible for all technical, administrative and financial operations of the business. Linda Cataldo (Virginia Beach)
Linda Cataldo is the manager of Mediation Services at Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia, Inc. She has worked as a full time mediator since becoming a certified mediator in 2003. She has conducted hundreds of mediations. Currently, Linda is certified in Juvenile Domestic Relations, Child Dependency, Restorative Justice, General District and Circuit Court Family mediation. She holds a Bachelors degree from East Carolina University in Criminal Justice and a Paralegal Certificate from Old Dominion University. Linda is the current chair of VMN's Marketing committee.

John Curry (Richmond)
Judge Curry served as a Juvenile Court Judge in the 25th Judicial District of Virginia from 1980 until 2003, when he retired. He holds a JD from the University of Memphis School of Law. Judge Curry has taught Family Law at Southern Virginia College for two years and Business Law at Blue Ridge Community College for three years. He is a member of the Virginia Mediation Network Board of Directors and is an Associate with Commonwealth Mediation Group, Inc. in Richmond. He is certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia in General District Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, Circuit Court Civil, and Circuit Court Family Mediation, and is a Mentor. David Michael (Fairfax)
David provides consultation and training to organizations in the areas of conflict management, leadership, and non-profit management. David was Executive Director of the Northern Virginia Mediation Service from 2005-2008. He was formerly princal of Consensusworks, which provides training, consultation, and design of mediation and ADR programs in the US and abroad. He trained and mentored mediators, delivered conflict management skills trainings, and provided technical assistance in judicial reform, rule of law, and governance initiatives abroad. David also served as director of the Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Division of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from 1997 to 2004. Dotty Larson (Catlett)
Dotty recently retired from the Prince William County Office of Dispute Resolution, which she managed for the last 15 years. She is presently a partner of the Professional Mediators of Virginia. Dotty served on the Board of the Virginia Mediation Network from 1996 to 2001, and was Secretary, Vice-President, President, and Immediate Past-President during her term. Dotty has also served on several committees of the Supreme Court of Virginia's Office of Dispute Resolution, including Ethics and Unauthorized Practice of Law, as well as the Mediator Complaint Panel. Dotty is a founder and Executive Board Member of the Restorative Justice Association of Virginia. Her dispute resolution background includes training for a wide variety of groups and extensive experience conducting mediations.
