VMN 2025 Fall Conference

Thank you to everyone who was involved with this year's conference "Lighting the Way to Help You Sail Your Own Ship!" Over 100 attendees and speakers were involved in the conference which took place from October 3-10, 2025. Two days of in-person sessions at the Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center in Glen Allen were followed by a week of virtual sessions. 

Conference sessions covered:

  • Ethics & Professional Standards – Ethics: Lighting the Way with a distinguished multi-speaker panel.
  • Core Skills – Managing high emotions, integrating mindfulness, and applying socio-genograms in mediation.
  • Specialized Practice – Equitable distribution in Virginia, divorce mortgage planning, and ADR in schools.
  • Innovation & Technology – AI tools for mediation and designing AI-powered training programs.
  • Creative Approaches – Using visual art in peacemaking, restorative law, and forgiveness education.
  • Professional Development – Building a sustainable practice, non-profit strategies, and community engagement.

We hope you will join us again in 2026 for a week of connection, learning, and deepening your mediation skills and practice.
